His voice is often mistaken for a female's and he is constantly compared to Elliott Smith, something that is hard for me to hear considering my adoration of Elliott. He offers bitter-sweet folk songs, each with a heavy vail of sadness over tunes that are bubbly enough not to weigh you down. Ok, yes, similar to Elliott in that way.
